Domestic Boarding Program

Welcome to the LCA Domestic Boarding Program, where diversity meets educational excellence. Our program offers a unique residential experience for U.S. students, providing not just a place to live, but a community that reflects the global village of our modern world. With students representing over 50 countries, LCA is an ideal setting for young people to grow in a multicultural environment, fostering global awareness and inclusivity.

Boarding Options

  • 5-Day Boarding Perfect for families from nearby areas such as Park City, our 5-day boarding option allows students to enjoy the benefits of a boarding experience during the school week while returning home on weekends.
  • 7-Day Boarding For those seeking a full-time residential experience, our 7-day boarding is particularly appealing for those in our athletic programs.

Accomodation Types

  • Single Room Boarding Designed for students who value privacy, our single room option provides a quiet space to reflect and study amidst a busy community life.
  • Double Room Boarding Encouraging collaboration and friendship, our double room boarding allows students to live and learn together, benefiting from the shared experiences of a diverse roommate.

Meals

On days when school is in-session, students will enjoy the convenience of breakfast, lunch, and dinner served at the school. However, in response to student preferences and to reduce food wastage, we will no longer provide meals on weekends, holidays, and school breaks. This adjustment prevents the excessive food waste that has been happening at LCA and allows students the flexibility to:
  • Explore the nearby dining options with friends within walking distance of most LCA Residential homes. Layton has many restaurant accommodations, from fast and affordable food to high-end cuisine for a special treat. Most students enjoy riding the train on the weekends and exploring Salt Lake City and the robust meal options available.
  • Create meals in their residential homes with air fryers, microwaves, toasters, and other small appliances. Residential homes go to the grocery store once a week to gather food and personal supplies.
