Commission on International and Trans-Regional Accreditation

Accreditations play a vital role in ensuring the quality of education and overall development of students at LCA. We are proud to hold five accreditations from reputable organizations, which serve as a testament to our commitment to excellence in education. 
  • The Association of Christian Teachers and Schools accreditation reflects our dedication to providing a Christ-centered education that instills moral values and a biblical worldview in our students. This accreditation affirms that our curriculum aligns with Christian principles, enabling students to grow spiritually while receiving a high-quality education.
  • Being accredited by the National Council for Private School Accreditation demonstrates our adherence to rigorous standards of academic excellence, student support, and school management. This accreditation signifies that LCA provides a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment for our students.
  • The Northwest Association of Accredited Schools accreditation assures that we meet established criteria for curriculum, teaching, and learning processes. It validates that LCA fosters an environment conducive to academic growth and encourages students to reach their full potential.

This accreditation supports our mission to provide a well-rounded education that prepares students for success in college and beyond.
"The mission of the Northwest Association of Accredited Schools is to advance excellence in education through the process of accreditation." The Northwest Association of Accredited Schools accredits distance education, elementary, foreign nation, high, K-12, middle, post secondary non degree granting, special purpose, supplementary education, travel education, and trans-regional schools. The geographic territory of the Association consists of the states of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, and Washington, and other geographical areas designated from time to time by the Board of Trustees."








The Commission of International and Trans-Regional Accreditation (CITA) is the world's fastest-growing accrediting agency. Established in 1996 by five U.S. regional associations that accredit schools and universities, CITA offers customized accreditation protocols and standards for schools spanning USA regions and for national and international schools worldwide. CITA grants accreditation, with the participating regional commissions overseeing the accreditation protocol facility. CITA collaborates with these commissions to promote accreditation and enhance school quality:
  • Middle States Commission on Elementary Schools (CES MS)- Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS CASI)
  • Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WAS)
  • North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA CASI)
  • Council on Occupational Education (COE)
  • National Council for Private Schools Accreditation (NCPSA)
