Email Your Flight Information
This step is important! Housing placements will not be arranged until we have received your flight information. When sending the email, it would also be helpful to add the WhatsApp number we will use to communicate with you before your arrival, if there are any travel issues, and to relay pick-up information.
International Students may start arriving on Sunday, August 11th. Airport Pick-Ups will only be arranged by the school from August 11th to August 17th. If your arrival is later than August 17th, transportation will need to be arranged on your own.
Housing Placement Considerations
When determining a good fit for placement, it would be helpful to have as much information as possible about their personality, habits, character, and interests.

Request Your Courses
We encourage you to request your courses as early as possible. While we strive to accommodate each student's course preferences, please note that class availability is subject to existing capacities. If a desired course is full, we will work closely with you to find suitable alternatives that align with your academic objectives. Early registration increases your chances of securing a spot in your preferred classes, so please make your selections promptly and thoughtfully.

The LCA App will be your go-to resource throughout the school year. It will be how you know about upcoming events, pay for activities, view our athletic schedules, submit service hours, communicate with special interest groups, and more!
Review LCA Handbooks
These handbooks contain important guidelines, policies, and expectations that will guide your conduct and help you navigate your new academic environment successfully. Understanding these rules beforehand not only eases your transition into our community but also ensures that you are well-prepared to engage with the school culture and adhere to our standards from day one. Please take the time to read and understand the handbooks thoroughly to maximize your experience at LCA and to avoid any potential misunderstandings or issues once you arrive.
Sign Honor Code and Waivers
As part of your enrollment, at LCA you are required to sign our Honor Code, Media Release, and facilities and athletics waivers. These documents are vital as they outline your responsibilities and consent regarding school policies, media involvement, and participation in activities.
Signing these documents signifies your agreement to uphold the integrity, respect, and safety standards that define our school environment. It is essential that you read these documents carefully to understand the expectations LCA has for all its students. This process ensures that we maintain a trustworthy and secure atmosphere conducive to learning and personal growth.
Parents: Sign Guardianship Paperwork
Paperwork Completion Penalty: To avoid a $3,000 penalty, we require that all paperwork, including Custodial Guardianship paperwork, be submitted within two weeks of the student’s start date.
Make Sure You Pack What You Need
Preparing for your journey to LCA includes packing appropriately for both academic and extracurricular activities. We ask you to familiarize yourself with our dress code guidelines, which are designed to foster a respectful and professional learning environment. Our dress code reflects our community's standards and helps promote a sense of school pride and belonging. Dress code shirts are available for purchase when you arrive on campus, however, we encourage you to pack the bottom portion.
Please consult the packing list provided to ensure you bring all necessary items for a comfortable stay, including clothing that meets our dress code requirements, school supplies, and personal items. Adhering to these guidelines will help you transition smoothly into daily life at LCA and avoid any disruptions to your educational experience.
