The New Year brings so much hope and expectation of what is to come. We start to make plans to fulfill our resolutions and see so much possibility in what is to come. It’s like God breathes and breath of fresh air into us and we embark on a new journey with Him. But it usually doesn’t take long and we find ourselves in a place of wondering…trying to navigate an unforeseen circumstance or new development in the plan. We suddenly go from excitement to uncertainty, unsure of what to do next.
There are times in our lives when God chooses not to show us the whole picture and sometimes the only step we know to take is the one right in front of us. When you are truly trying to walk the path God has for you, you can trust that He is guiding you. You might not understand why He is leading you in a certain direction or why things are going a way contrary to what you might have wanted, but I can guarantee He has good plans for you. So don’t be overwhelmed or concerned about your future. Take it one step at a time.
“The Lord directs our steps, so why try to understand everything along the way?”

LCA has been very well represented the last several years at both the Regional, State, and even National levels of competition, and it all starts with our local school History Fair Day! This year, the History Fair will be held on January 22 from 8am until approximately noon. If you can help with the judging process we would greatly appreciate it and the time spent will also be credited towards service hours! Please sign up in the office or contact Coach Aaron Schrader at firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to be involved in this wonderful event. Thank you so much!
Main Office Needs
Our Main Office is in need of Ibuprofen and Children’s Chewable Tylenol. Our students often have minor aches and pains that, with your permission, we are able to help treat while they are at school! We want to be able to continue to help out your students and with your help, we can! You can drop off any time in the Main Office! Thanks so much in advance!
We have had a great year so far with the travel flow and few problems. Please remember that when coming from the West to use the West Entrance and when coming from the East to use the East entrance and the same for departures. This will help the flow tremendously and help to avoid unnecessary accidents. Also, as a reminder that our blacktop becomes a playground for our elementary grades. If you are planning to remain at the school after than 8:45am, please do not park between the school and the basketball hoops. Thanks so much for helping us keep things running smoothly at LCA!
Now, anyone can be part of yearbook by uploading photos from any LCA event!
Step 1: Download the HJ Eshare app from any iOS or Android
Step 2: Enter school code “LCA”
Step 3: Take and Share any photos
You can also upload following the same steps using hjeshare.com
