Christmas is here…ready or not!
Christmas marks the day grace arrived on earth. What a gift! We look at this gift baffled and in awe that it is ours to keep, and we carry it with us everywhere as our greatest hope.
The manger is the ultimate symbol of hope. A broken world so desperately in need of love received it and the shepherds felt joy that night like we still do this Christmas. Jesus’ arrival meant peace had come. It meant forgiveness and atonement had come. His life meant we had life also.
As you spend the next week among family and friends, we pray that you feel the love of Christ in all that you do. We know Christmas can be hectic and busy, but in the midst of it all, may you remember that He is Emmanuel, God with us. In all that we do, everywhere that we go, He is still the reason. Take time to slow down, be present and enjoy the gift of grace that we celebrate this week!
Merry Christmas from all of us at LCA! We love you!!
We want to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone for your help in upgrading our computer lab! Because of the money raised with our Fun Run this year, we were able to make some much needed upgrades that began today! One of our High School Computer Lab’s was updated from desktop computers to Dell laptops with i7 processors and SSD storage! These are huge improvements over what we had before! We couldn’t have done it without you!

In keeping with our tradition, Team LCA is now collecting donations for our Teacher Gift Fund! For those of you who may be new to our school, every year we collect funds in hopes of blessing our Teachers and Staff with a special Christmas gift….the gift of cash! No need to worry about what gift to give and any amount is appreciated! In return for your generosity, you can also earn service hours for your donation -1 service hour for every $10 dollars (limit of 7 hours). No need to worry if you cannot contribute monetarily, we still need volunteers for our Gift Wrapping cart at the mall!! The funds raised from this will being going into our gift fund as well. Your student will be coming home with a form for turning in. We will also have additional forms in the office. I’m also attaching our flier and form so you may print it out at home as well. All donations can be brought to the office (we will have a donation box in there).
Thank you again for all your generosity for our school and our hard working teachers! Every year we are blown away by your contributions!
After we return from the break, History Fair will be upon us! Boards and headers are available for purchase in the Main Office for $5 (board) and $2 (header).
