Layton Christian Academy offers a wide range of extra-curricular activities at the elementary and middle school levels, including athletics. As with all activities and academic performances, LCA strives to encourage students to make the most of their gifts and abilities. We want students to dream big dreams, explore the possibilities and work to be the best they can be. For lower elementary students LCA offers camps and clinics designed to expose the younger athletes to a variety of sports.
Beginning in 5th grade LCA students are able to participate in interscholastic competition. The elementary and middle school teams participate in the Wasatch Athletic Conference (WAC) made of schools from Northern Utah. Here at LCA we believe athletics provides a unique opportunity for young people to develop spiritually as well as athletically while serving as witnesses for Christ. In pursuing our goal we provide students, regardless of their skill level, the opportunity to participate in and experience growth through athletics.
All students desiring to play sports at LCA must go to RegisterMyAthlete.com and complete the forms before they will be eligible to play.
Do you want to be involved? Layton Christian Academy is continually in need of qualified individuals who have the time to coach or assist with coaching. If you are interested in becoming involved or would like more information regarding the available coaching positions, please contact LCA’s athletic director.
