“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go” (Joshua 1:9).

When the Israelites were going from the wilderness into the Promised Land, they had many obstacles to face. There were giants, evil nations and pagan religions that stood in opposition to God and His Word. They also struggled against their own fear, doubt and insecurity.

Yet there were still some who had faith in the midst of this — Joshua and Caleb. And just like them, we need to believe and stand in faith. We can’t let fear keep us from entering the promised land that God has destined for each one of us.

Trust in Him today and move forward to grab hold His promises for you!

Open House

Next week, Tuesday, March 27th, will be our annual Open House Night for families considering LCA as a school for their students! This night will be fun, interactive and have food and activities for all! The fun will begin at 6pm with an interactive, self-guided tour of our campus. Each stop on the tour will offer families a glimpse of classrooms, teachers, programs, and more at LCA and provide a fun way to get to know us better! The last stop on the tour will be the gym where we will have fun basketball shoot outs, food for all and lots of informational booths set up to talk to families!

This is where you come in AND service hours opportunities!! We would love to see as many new faces as we can that evening! You can help us by spreading the word to your family and friends! We have small flyers that you can give out to potential families that share information about our event. Simply write your name on the back of the flyer (make sure we can read it!) and have your friends bring it with them and turn in as they enter the building! Each flyer turned in with your name on it will get you ONE service hour!! This is such a simple and fun way to help spread the word and get some of those last minute service hours completed!! You can pick up flyers from the Main Office or check your child’s backpack!

We want to be able to continue to help out your students and with your help, we can! You can drop off any time in the Main Office! Thanks so much in advance!

Traffic Flow

We have had a great year so far with the travel flow and few problems. Please remember that when coming from the West to use the West Entrance and when coming from the East to use the East entrance and the same for departures. This will help the flow tremendously and help to avoid unnecessary accidents.  Also, as a reminder that our blacktop becomes a playground for our elementary grades. If you are planning to remain at the school after than 8:45am, please do not park between the school and the basketball hoops. Thanks so much for helping us keep things running smoothly at LCA!
