Middle School students will receive a reading list at the beginning of the summer. They are to read the required book, plus one chosen from the list. Both books should be read before the start of school!
For 2011, all students entering grades 6-8 will read SOUL SURFER by Bethany Hamilton. It is important that they all read the book because we will be comparing the differences between the book and the movie. A typed progressive reading journal (see form) is required to be completed for both novels.
