High School Athletics

All students desiring to play sports at LCA must go to Register My Athlete and complete the forms before they will be eligible to play,

BOYS SPORTS

LCA offers high school boys the opportunity to compete in nine different varsity sports. Some sports include opportunities for underclassmen to participate on freshmen or junior varsity teams. LCA competes at the 2A level with other public and private schools in Utah, in the Utah Activities Association Region 14. Boys sports include: baseball, basketball, cross country, football, golf, soccer, tennis, track, and wrestling. LCA has won numerous region and state championships at the 1A and 2A level.

GIRLS SPORTS

LCA offers high school girls the opportunity to compete in eight different varsity sports. Some sports include opportunities for underclassmen to participate on freshmen or junior varsity teams. LCA competes at the 2A level with other public and private schools in Utah, in the Utah Activities Association Region 14 . Girls sports include: basketball, cheerleading, cross country, golf, soccer, softball, track, and volleyball. In past years LCA has won region championships and and state championships at the 1A and 2A level.

ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible to compete in interscholastic sports, LCA students must maintain satisfactory grades as defined in LCA’s Athletic Handbook.
